Madness on the Mountain

The ideas in Madness on the Mountain follow my resolute belief; that our human societies are primitive animal organizational entities, not civilizations. It is overreach and misleading to use this word. Civilization is still the goal, but as (quite recently) former apes we are conflicted. We are still an undomesticated and extremely violent species in transition. In spite of our own optimistic propaganda and the hearty and frequent congratulations from none other than ourselves, we have been faring rather poorly on the civilization front.

Primitive human (animal) responses to mysterious life forces have bypassed reality and plunged us into superstition. The simple fact; evolution of diverse life on the surface of the planet gets lost in religious mind-numbing fables about a God-Creator. The Lord His Nibs in Heaven! Religious beliefs are damaging our self-understanding and promoting a disconnection from the actual earth that gave birth to life.
